Thanks for visiting!

Note I've had the pleasure of listening to the album "Stranger" for the first time today. This so inspires me to step out and make my own CD which has been a dream of mine for years. I absolutely love the song "Don't Wait." I'm putting that on my "to learn" list. Don't worry - I'll make sure you get the royalties if I ever make it to the big time! Hot

About the Musicians!

Roy Schroedl is the original Razor member.  He can be seen playing 12-string Takamine guitar and Tacoma mandolin.  He can also be seen keeping rhythm with a shaker or djembe at various times. Roy does a fair amount of lead and back-up vocals.

Roy has written the majority of 3 CD's with Okham’s Razor. His lyrical influences range from Arlo Guthrie to Frank Zappa. He was not at Woodstock nor did he see the Beatles live in concert. Since he grew up in the '60's & 70’s, he wouldn't remember if he had anyway, so maybe he did.

Eric Fleming originally hailed from St Charles, Illinois.  When he was a kid it was a small, rural place.  Eric is a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.  He now resides in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Eric is multi-talented, playing a 6-string Washburn guitar, harmonica and has a wide vocal range.  He has written several selections on the newest Okham’s Razor CD, “Two’s A Perfect Number.”  His influences include Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp and many others.  As the “kid” of the group, he provides a lot of energy and drive in the band’s live shows.  His songwriting reflects his passion for life.

Kevan Norin is a Third Generation musician. His grandfather, Cowboy Jack Hodges, hosted a radio show in Beaumont, Texas in the 1930’s and later in Wisconsin.  His dad, Jim, is an outstanding country picker and jam session artist.

Kevan and Roy Schroedl were introduced in 1979, and began a 13-year run as the acoustic duo, BC Gumms, playing cover songs by Neil Young, John Prine, Warren Zevon, the Beatles, Bruce Springstein, and even Pink Floyd. Kevan's main contributions to the band are his tiger maple Washburn 6-string guitar and harmonica in addition to lead vocals and harmony.

In addition to the Acoustic Rock show, Kevan and Roy play as the Acoustic Cowboys.
